Chief Instructor Sensei Heiko Rommlemann
Heiko has well over 20 years of Judo and Jujitsu experience. He was a member of the U.S. Jujitsu Team from 1987 - 1990 and was a Gold Medalist at the 1990 World Jujitsu Championships. Heiko has also represented the U.S. at six Pan-Am Championships (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008) for Judo Kata and was a 3 time Gold Medalist at the 2007 and 2008 Pan Am Championships. Heiko was a competitor at the 2007 1st Kodokan International Kata Tournament in Tokyo, Japan and a competitor in the 2008 International Judo Federation 1st World Kata Cup in Paris France. He is the Activities Director at the YMCA/YWCA International Judo Camp (New York) and has been an instructor at the Spirit of the Eagle International Judo Camp (Ohio). He is also the Co-Developer of the Ground Defensive Tactics that was taught and used by the Rochester Police Department Defensive Tactics Unit.
